15 minutes – list the changes and trends that we have noticed in our work and personal life. the group I was with .. I’m madly typing this … came up with
* communication with colleages, family
* connecting with broader networks
* being able to ’sift’ it more easily
* richer more immediate communication flickr photos,
* easier to be a publisher not just a user
* archive family memorabilia, relates to learning collate and share
* the power for students and individuals to ‘capture’ their learning development
* puts you more in the driver seat
* greater reflection
* professional learning
* class use, student learning, lifelong learning
* sharing ideas, lengthy articles became podcasts
* greater sense of community
* people like to experiment with these technologies
* engaging all the senses
BTW (by the way) .. while this was happening, Mike, Garry, Nick and Deanne and others were collecting and collating the info eg cdigital cameras and putting them immediately online and up on the bigscreen (using flickr)
